These are meant in order to develop possible scenarios as to which production could emerge from the individual invitation to artists, critics etc.

->Jurij Leiderman
->Leonid Vojtsechov
->Octavian Esanu
(With Yurij, Leonid and Octavian for example emerges a question of "the conditions of appearance" which could be addressed at an audience which has been engaged in the 80's with Moscow Post-conceptualism)

->Hito Steyerl
(For example her writing deals very much with translations and the documentary form. This could theoretically be a strong contribution to the foundation of a space of speach directed at generating the institution's articulation)

->Andrei Siclodi
(director of Schloss Büchsenhausen, thus a possible cooperating institution. They host three artists for 10 month per year)

->Roé Cherpac
(here I believe we agree that we'd love to negotiate all manners of extending the invitation with regard to the place at which he is present as much as the duration of his presence in the articulation of the Shedhalle)

I have to say that I mention these people, but only with few of them I could in fact imagine to invite them into a long-term engagement right now.

[+Budget+][[<<]]
* funding bound to productions
* fundings:
* running costs?

Sönke and I have discussed on the train the example of Büchsenhausen and its assumed budget in relation to our budget framework at Shedhalle.

I estimate the Büchsenhausen budget at 34.000 per year, which pays three artists a monthly allowance of 650€ over the course of ten month. For each invited artist a budget for external guests is reserved, which amounts to approximately 3250€. 3 x a production budget of 1000 - 1500€ is reserved.

This could indicate a scale to which we can relate. We ought to raise the amount of 40.000€ meaning a double of an initiative and scale comparable to Büchsenhausen could be realizeable.

Sönke and I discussed that we would be in favor of a model of engagement on the bases of a

[+Stable monthly income+][[<<]]
The duration for which artists and participants would be engaged would be a matter of negotiation. I think only one or two artists would be engaged for appr. ten month, whereas others could be part of Shedhalle for two or three month. Since not the full time engagement is expected, one could think of a lower monthly payment, as well as two different models of payment with regard to the time-frame and the degree of engagement.

We thought that each participant would be invited to be with us personally during approximately a

[+Five day visit+][[<<]]
in those days of the month when the three of us are present. Subsequent to this first visit, we'd/he'd/she'd develop a possible engagement within the Shedhalle
[[<<]]

[+Questions+][[<<]]
Who could be those invited to take place in the Shedhalle? How would "taking place" become an articulation of the Shedhalle? How does it relate to the duration of three years? Who is our audience, who is the audience of the guests we might be inviting? How does "taking place" produce a public?
