Machinic Texture

Sunday, 2 December, 20:00 - 24:00

Host: Stephan Geene
What are the temporalities of reading in relation to the time of the very technology that the DoR is using? How does it shape Capitalism as "semiotic operator"? This session concerns reading as an affective as well as intellectual activity, which allows for a concept of the reader as a producer of textures. If the demand for other forms of collective subjectivity is connected to the potential of digital technologies to create new collective textures of predication, what exactly are such textures like? What concept of reading do such textures suggest?
